Perfect Liver and Onions - How to cook tender moist Liver.
Perfect brain food. If you have a Zombie in the basement, you'll want to feed them healthy brains. So feed their food source liver. Here is how to cook perfect Liver and Onions. All kidding aside, this is a dish that tastes great and is packed full of nutrients for a healthy body.
It contains all the fat-soluble vitamins, A, D, E, and K as well as all the B vitamins. Highly usable iron and minerals. If you like liver this is how I cook it to be tender and packed full of flavor.
Take 1 pound of liver, cut into 1 inch slices. Slice up 2 onions and 1 shallot, and start to caramelize them in a medium-high frying pan. Once the onions have almost finished, remove from pan and set aside. Then put your liver in the frying pan and let fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Once it is time to turn over, reduce heat to medium-low, and add your onions, then cover and cook for 4 to 5 more minutes.
Let your protein rest for about 4 to 5 minutes, serve on a plate with the onions placed on the top and you have a perfect Liver and Onions. I demonstrate this dish on my Youtube channel. Click Here
